Το πλήρωμα της αποστολής Artemis II που αποτελείται από τους Ριντ Γουάιζμαν, Βίκτορ Γκλόβερ, Κριστίνα Κόουκ και Τζέρεμι Χάνσεν επέστρεψε επιτέλους στη Γη μετά από 10 ημέρες ταξιδιού στο βαθύ διάστημα!
Η κάψουλα Orion της NASA μπήκε στην ατμόσφαιρα της Γης πάνω από τον Ειρηνικό Ωκεανό περίπου 3.200 χιλιόμετρα από τις ακτές των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών και προσθαλασσώθηκε χωρίς κάποιο πρόβλημα στα ανοιχτά της Καλιφόρνιας.
Ο καιρός ευνόησε τους αστροναύτες και όταν το Orion έφτασε στο κατάλληλο ύψος, άνοιξαν τα αλεξίπτωτα που επιβράδυναν την πτώση τους περίπου στις 3:07 του Σαββάτου ώρα Ελλάδας.
