Game of Thrones: Το HBO απάντησε με χιουμοριστικό tweet στο άκουσμα της sequel σειράς

Το δημοσίευμα του THR που αποκάλυψε τα σχέδια του HBO για την πρώτη sequel σειρά του Game of Thrones δεν αποτέλεσε επίσημη ανακοίνωση, αλλά όπως συμβαίνει σε αυτές τις περιπτώσεις μια πρώτη και σχεδόν σίγουρη ένδειξη ότι έρχεται. 

Βέβαια για να κλείσει το μάτι στους fans πριν ανακοινώσει το οτιδήποτε επίσημο, το HBO απάντησε στα δημοσιεύματα με τον καλύτερο και πιο παιχνιδιάρικο τρόπο. Επιλέγοντας τη χιουμοριστική προσέγγιση αυτοσαρκάστηκε μέσα από τον επίσημο λογαριασμό του HBO Max αναρτώντας μια φωτογραφία του Jon Snow με τη γνωστή του φράση "I know nothing" (δηλαδή δε γνωρίζω τίποτα).

Με αυτόν τον τρόπο αντέδρασε κιόλας στις σοκαρισμένες αντιδράσεις των fans του Game of Thrones στο άκουσμα της είδησης ότι η ιστορία θα συνεχιστεί μετά το "A Song of Ice And Fire" και δε θα πρόκειται για ένα από τα πολλαπλά prequel σόου που είτε έρχονται είτε βρίσκονται υπό ανάπτυξη.

Τη δεδομένη στιγμή, λοιπόν, το HBO αναπτύσσει 6 projects εντός του σύμπαντος του Game of Thrones, πέραν του House of the Dragon που θα κάνει πρεμιέρα στις 21 Αυγούστου στο HBO Max. 

Αυτά είναι τα 10.000 Ships (Nymeria) με showrunner την Amanda Segel, 9 Voyages (The Sea Snake) με showrunner τον Bruno Heller και το "Dunk and Egg" με showrunner τον Steve Conrad. Ωστόσο στα animated spinoffs συναντάμε τρία σόου μαζί με το The Golden Empire, που θα διαδραματίζεται στην χώρα του YiTi που είναι εμπνευσμένη από την Κίνα.
