Knock At The Cabin: Όσοι το είδαν λένε ότι είναι ίσως η καλύτερη ταινία του M. Night Shyamalan

Το Knock At The Cabin πρόκειται να παίξει στους κινηματογράφους πολύ σύντομα, ωστόσο πολλοί δημοσιογράφοι στην Αμερική είχαν τη δυνατότητα να το παρακολουθήσουν από τώρα. Οι πρώτες αντιδράσεις για το νέο horror του M. Night Shyamalan έφτασαν και είναι αρκετά θετικές.

Και αυτό γιατί πολλοί λένε ότι ο Shyamalan επιτέλους επέστρεψε και φέρνει μια ταινία που είναι ίσως η καλύτερη της καριέρας του. Άλλοι αναφέρουν επίσης ότι μπορεί να μην ξεπερνάει το Signs σε ποιότητα, αλλά σίγουρα είναι η καλύτερη ταινία που έχει βγάλει τα τελευταία χρόνια.

#KnockAtTheCabin impressed the hell out of me. The suspense heightens throughout the movie, and I was definitely hooked. Didn’t expect the emotions at the end, but the cast really nailed it. Kudos to Dave Bautista who, between this and #GlassOnion, is having a hell of a winter.

Πρόκειται για ένα “home invasion” φιλμ που θέλει να σας διηγηθεί μία παράξενη ιστορία με ένα υπέρλαμπρο cast που ηγείται εδώ ο Dave Bautista.

H σύνοψη της ταινίας:

Ενώ κάνουν διακοπές σε μια απομακρυσμένη καλύβα, ένα νεαρό κορίτσι και οι γονείς της γίνονται όμηροι τεσσάρων οπλισμένων αγνώστων που απαιτούν από την οικογένεια να κάνει μια αδιανόητη επιλογή, ούτως ώστε να αποτρέψει την αποκάλυψη. Έχοντας περιορισμένη πρόσβαση στον έξω κόσμο, η οικογένεια πρέπει να αποφασίσει τι πιστεύει πριν χαθούν όλα.

Ο Bautista (Blade Runner 2049, Dune, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Story) θα παίξει το ρόλο ενός παράξενου τύπου που εισβάλλει στην καλύβα μιας οικογένειας, μαζί με μερικούς ακόμη -ένας από αυτούς είναι ο Rupert Grint που τον γνωρίζετε ως Ron Weasley από τις ταινίες Harry Potter, αλλά και το "Servant". Εκεί ζητά από την άτυχη οικογένεια του Jonathan Groff (Mindhunter, The Matrix: Resurrections) να κάνει μια μεγάλη θυσία για να...αποφευχθεί η Αποκάλυψη.

Το σενάριο της ταινίας Knock at The Cabin βασίζεται στο βιβλίο "The Cabin at The End of The World" του συγγραφέα Paul Tremblay, το οποίο ο μετρ του τρόμου, Stephen King έχει περιγράψει ως "συναρπαστικό, στοχαστικό και υπνωτιστικό". Παίζουν επίσης οι Ben Aldridge (Pennyworth, Fleabag), Nikki Amuka-Bird (Persuasion, Old), η πρωτοεμφανιζόμενη νεαρή Kristen Cui, και η Abby Quinn (Little Women, Landline).
