@Manfry75 Console gaming needs growth, doesn't happen via existing games/markets. Old keeps core happy, new can grow market. Balance is key.

@JezCorden Sales are part, IP has to have room to expand and team to expand. I'm always learning, sometimes painful, sometimes with a smile.

@fcruzsierra @Manfry75 Back Compat was good as it brought a bunch of nostalgia back without all the games needing to be redone or rebought.

@fcruzsierra @Manfry75 New things should be trying to expand the base of players while appealing to the core. Not all IP/games can do this.

@Sobski117 @Manfry75 Yes, this is balance. Redoing launch portfolio will keep some happy but we should all want all of gaming to be growing.
— Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) December 20, 2016@Shpeshal_Ed @Steverulez I'll never pull the "higher ups" thing. It's on me, good and bad. MS has been great supporting Xbox.

@Sobski117 @Manfry75 Just hard when so many get caught up in battle between platforms when the real battle is console growth. Growth is key.

@StarkyLuv73 I like new. And sometimes with games like State of Decay you start smaller, build and then do a bigger sequel when things work
— Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) December 20, 2016
@StarkyLuv73 Truth is most games that get started don't finish, most don't even get announced. I like Game Preview, helps with this.

@BeastFireTimdog @Sobski117 @Manfry75 EA Access, FO Mods, Game Preview, xplay , I think move gaming forward. Our 1P IP should do the same.

@BeastFireTimdog @Sobski117 @Manfry75 It's why I love what people are doing with H5 Forge right now, amazing creativity.

@BeastFireTimdog @Sobski117 @Manfry75 Paying marketing funds so another consoles base can't play a piece of content doesn't feel like growth
— Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) December 20, 2016
@bxrocboy People getting worked up on this, Never said Xbox has never done this, not calling out others, just not practice I like, that's it
— Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) December 23, 2016
@Acekidder It's just where people focus energy, I try to stay positive and on making Gaming more relevant and growing, I see that as my job.

@SandiChapar @Xbox Wait until we show you gameplay worth buying, then you can decide on your pre-order.
