Πιθανή πρόκληση βλάβης σε CPUs με socket LGA 1151

Μέσω του PCGamesHardware.de την εμφάνισή του έκανε άρθρο το οποίο αναφέρει ότι υπάρχει περίπτωση πρόκλησης βλάβης σε Skylake επεξεργαστές του Intel socket LGA 1151, λόγω της πίεσης που ασκεί η ψύκτρα επεξεργαστή. Αυτό υπάρχει περίπτωση να εμφανιστεί λόγω του μικρότερου πάχους των επεξεργαστών και της έλλειψης μηχανικής στήριξης που σε συνδυασμό με την πίεση που ασκεί το σύστημα τοποθέτησης μίας ψύκτρας μπορεί να προκαλέσει λυγισμό ή και καταστροφή στον CPU ή στα pins του socket. Αυτό προξενεί ανησυχία στους κατόχους aftermarket ψυκτρών καθώς κάθε εταιρεία χρησιμοποιεί το δικό της σύστημα τοποθέτησης. Ενδεικτικά, δηλώσεις για το θέμα έγιναν από τις Scythe, Noctua, EKWB και Arctic, με μερικές εταιρείες να εφιστούν την προσοχή στους καταναλωτές για τη συμβατότητα ορισμένων μοντέλων.

Ακολουθούν οι δηλώσεις των εταιρειών:
