2018 iPhone Photography Awards

Για εντέκατη συνεχόμενη χρονιά είδαμε τους κατόχους των προϊόντων τις Apple να λαμβάνουν μέρος στον ετήσιο διαγωνισμό φωτογραφίας  iPhone Photography Awards (IPPAWARDS). Οι νικητές της φετινής χρονιάς επιλέχθηκαν ανάμεσα από χιλιάδες συμμετέχοντες που προέρχονταν από περισσότερες από 140 χώρες. Μεγάλος νικητής αναδείχθηκε ο Jashim Salam από το Μπαγκλαντές για την φωτογραφία του με τίτλο Displaced. Καλύτερος φωτογράφος της χρονιάς αναδείχθηκε ο Alexandre Weber από την Ελβετία για την φωτογραφία Baiana in Yellow and Blue. Δεύτερη θέση στην ίδια κατηγορία πήρε ο Huapeng Zhao με την Eye to Eye, και τρίτος ο Zarni Myo Win από το Myanmar για την εικόνα  I Want to Play.

Οι τρείς πρώτες θέσει και στις 18 κατηγορίας κατακλείστηκαν από φωτογράφους από όλο τον κόσμο. Ο ιδρυτής του IPPAWARDS Kenan Aktulun μίλησε με τα καλύτερα λόγια για τον φετινό διαγωνισμό και τους συμμετέχοντες, λέγοντας πως οι χρήστες iPhone έχουν γίνει πολύ καλοί στην οπτική αφήγηση με τις φωτογραφίες τους να είναι άριστες τεχνικά αλλά και πολύ προσωπικές.
