Αποκαλύφθηκε το πρώτο πλήρως ασύρματο VR Headset
Όπως φαίνεται και η AMD προσπαθεί να μπει στην αγορά του VR. Συγκεκριμένα, στα πλαίσια της GDC 2016 η εταιρία αποκάλυψε πως σε συνεργασία με την Sulon Technologies θα φέρει στην αγορά το Sulon Q. Πρόκειται για ένα headset εικονικής πραγματικότητας που περιγράφεται ως η πρώτη all-in-one ασύρματη, wear and play συσκευή για VR και AR που γνωρίζει την θέση της στο χώρο. Το headset ενσωματώνει τον FX-8800P επεξεργαστή της AMD και έτσι διαθέτει το δικό του ανεξάρτητο υπολογιστικό σύστημα.
