Συγκρίνουν το Matrix: Resurrections με το "The Last Jedi" - Οι πρώτες αντιδράσεις  

Οι πρώτες εντυπώσεις για το The Matrix Resurrections κάνουν τον γύρο των social media και ιδίως στο Twitter, όπου όσοι ήταν καλεσμένοι για να το παρακολουθήσουν μοιράστηκαν τις αντιδράσεις τους. 

Που κυμαίνονται αυτές; Φαίνεται πως το The Matrix 4 δια χειρός Lana Wachowski θα είναι μια από τις πιο διχαστικές ταινίες των τελευταίων ετών, με κάποιους να το συγκρίνουν με το Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Τώρα το τι σημαίνει αυτό ακριβώς θα το μάθουμε όταν το δει ο κόσμος, προς το παρόν ρίξτε μια ματιά στις εντυπώσεις του ξένου ειδικού Τύπου παρακάτω: 

"Το Matrix Resurrections παρά το ότι (αλλά και λόγω της) απύθμενης αλαφροσύνης του, είναι το πιο τολμηρό και έντονα προσωπικό sequel του Χόλιγουντ, από την εποχή του The Last Jedi. Έχει μια χαζή/ειλικρινής οπτική για την κουλτούρα των reboots, που συμφιλιώνεται με το πώς τα μοντέρνα blockbusters αφορούν μόνο τον εαυτό τους."

The Matrix Resurrections, despite (and because of) its infinite goofiness, is the boldest & most vividly personal Hollywood sequel since The Last Jedi. a silly/sincere galaxy brain take on reboot culture that makes peace with how modern blockbusters are now only about themselves.

Σίγουρα σας συστήνω να δείτε τις προηγούμενες τρεις εάν μπορείτε γιατί η καινούργια κάνει ΠΑΡΑ πολλές αναφορές. Οι παλιοί fan θα γουστάρουν την ταινία και τους τρόπους που ανατρέπει τη μυθολογία. Επίσης βάζει τα θεμέλια όχι μόνο για sequels αλλά και prequels. Η WB μπορεί να τρελάνει περισσότερο το Matrix. 

I’d definitely recommend watching the first three #Matrix movies if you can as the new film references them A LOT. Longtime fans w/ dig this film & the ways it twists the mythology. Έχω μιλήσει με πολλούς φίλους μου που είδαν το Matrix 4 και κανένας τους δεν είχε την ίδια αντίδραση. Ανυπομονώ να δω που θα οδηγήσει όλο αυτό. 

So far I have personally spoken with half a dozen friends who’ve seen MATRIX 4 and no two reactions were identical. Excited to see where this takes us.

You'll probably see it on the Oscars shortlist for Visual Effects but it might 50/50 for something like sound.

Hard for me to trust negative takes on a Matrix movie because conventional wisdom for nearly 2 decades was that Matrix Reloaded is bad. A movie that has a rave cave / sex scene, curbstomps the Hero’s Journey, & has Laurence Fishburne flip and explode an SUV with a katana.

There was a point in the middle of The Matrix Resurrections where I briefly thought it was the best movie ever made, and, like, I haven’t convinced myself it’s NOT?

#TheMatrixResurrections is an almost 2.5-hour exposition dump with choppy action scenes reminiscent of the Bourne movies. It reuses far too much footage from previous installments and is meta to a fault.
