Έντονες αντιδράσεις στο ίντερνετ μετά την ανακοίνωση της Sony για τα retail παιχνίδια

Η Sony ανακοίνωσε εχθές το μεσημέρι μια σημαντική αλλαγή για το μέλλον του PlayStation, καθώς από τον Ιανουάριο του 2028 θα σταματήσει η παραγωγή των retail αντιτύπων σε όλα τα νέα παιχνίδια που θα κυκλοφορούν στις κονσόλες της.

Αυτή η ανακοίνωση έλαβε έντονες αντιδράσεις στα social media με τους παίκτες, γνωστά πρόσωπα της βιομηχανίας, αλλά και άλλες εταιρίες (όπως η Dominos Pizza) να σχολιάζουν αρνητικά αυτή την απόφαση.

Μάλιστα, βλέπουμε ότι η συγκεκριμένη ανακοίνωση στο X (πρώην Twitter) έχει συγκεντρώσει ήδη πάνω από 53.000 σχόλια με τους παίκτες είτε να ζητούν από την Sony να ανακαλέσει, είτε ότι αλλάζουν «στρατόπεδο» και ουσιαστικά κεντρική πλατφόρμα.

There’s no reason to stay with PlayStation anymore.

After more than 30 years with Sony, I’m switching to PC.

With no physical games, there isn’t a single valid reason to stay with PlayStation instead of buying a PC.

Sony has officially killed its own appeal.

▪️Somehow allows you to transfer your discs into digital on PS6 (lol...lmao even)

The only reason I have a PS5 pro is to play exclusives. I buy them on disc. As once completed, I trade them in. Now there is no point having one. I stopped my PS premium this month, as it's not worth the money. Think I'm gonna sell it now. Can't be assed for Wolverine.
