Όπως σας είχαμε ενημερώσει, η αναβάθμιση του Silent Hill 2 για το PS5 Pro είχε συνοδευτεί από πολλά παράπονα, με παίκτες να τονίζουν πως έκανε το παιχνίδι να δείχνει σε περιπτώσεις ακόμη και χειρότερο από την έκδοση της βασικής κονσόλας!
Τα σχόλια αυτά δεν πέρασαν απαρατήρητα από την KONAMI και την ομάδα ανάπτυξης Bloober Team που μόλις έκαναν διαθέσιμο το Patch 1.06 για το remake του λατρεμένου horror τίτλου. Όπως επισημαίνουν τα επίσημα patch notes, η ενημέρωση διορθώνει τον τεχνικό τομέα στο PS5 Pro, εξαλείφοντας κάποια από τα 'graphics glitches' που είχαν συναντήσει οι παίκτες.
Σύμφωνα με την αρχική έρευνα του Digital Foundry, τα προβλήματα αυτά είχαν προκύψει από τον τρόπο με τον οποίο ενσωματώθηκε στη μηχανή γραφικών η PSSR τεχνολογία που κάνει upscaling με χρήση του ειδικού machine learning hardware του PS5 Pro.
Πέρα από την επίλυση του θέματος αυτού, η ενημέρωση εξαλείφει και πολλά gameplay bugs. Ακολουθεί το αναλυτικό changelog.
